Role Overview

We are looking for a Carrier Sales Representative to focus on prospecting, cold calling, and qualifying new carrier accounts for Ryan Transportation within the United States and Canada. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with an outgoing, ambitious, and dynamic personality.

What You Will Do

Solicit prospective carriers to join our carrier network, develop long-term relationships with shippers and carriers, learn the trucking industry, and build and manage an existing carrier network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field
  • Demonstrated success in a proactive sales environment
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
