Job Description
Role Overview

TASC is seeking a compassionate and motivated Case Manager to support clients involved in the criminal legal system who are struggling with substance use and behavioral health challenges. Case Managers in our Adult Criminal Justice and Treatment Services (ACJS) division work closely with individuals to provide assessments, referrals, and case management services that support recovery and long-term stability.

What You Will Do

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop service plans tailored to client needs, facilitate intake and enrollment into TASC programs, provide referrals and crisis intervention for behavioral health, housing, employment, and other supports, collaborate with community partners and internal staff to ensure coordinated care.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Ideal candidate is a high school graduate with a valid driver's license, CADC certification within two years of employment, and experience in group facilitation, knowledge of ASAM placement criteria, and good communication skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • CADC certification within two years of employment with TASC
  • Ability to pass an IDOC Background check
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated experience in group facilitation
  • Knowledge of the current ASAM placement criteria, DSM-V as it relates to substance-related disorders, and Code of Ethics for substance abuse professionals
