Job Description
Using Positive Behavior Support (PBS) strategies, all DBIS staff are professional team members responsible for supporting each individual’s right to live a safe, enjoyable, meaningful life at home and in the community. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a related field and/or three years full-time experience working with people who live with developmental delays and/or brain injuries.
  • Experience working with the DBIS population.
  • CPR & 1st Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain prior to or upon hire).
  • MAP certification required (or willingness to obtain prior to or upon hire).
  • Human Rights Officer, Fire Safety Officer and PBS training as required per program.
