Role Overview

Performs moderately complex casework, serving as a liaison between clients and their families in obtaining assistance and rehabilitative treatment. Works under general supervision with limited latitude for initiative and independent judgment. Incorporates principles of trauma-informed care, including cultural sensitivity, in all areas of service delivery.

What You Will Do

Interviews clients, their families, and other stakeholders to obtain client background information. Identifies client needs and assesses support systems. Provides casework services, including counseling and placement coordination. Maintains accurate and confidential case records.

Requirements

  • Experience in a field relating to the agency program
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major course work in a field relevant to the assignment
  • Valid drivers' license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work cooperatively and productively with supervisor, individuals, co-workers, and groups of persons at all levels of activity
