Job Description
Join our team as a Festival Foods Cashier and provide outstanding service to our customers. As a key part of our retail and grocery store team experience, you'll ensure every shopper leaves ready to “boomerang” back again. Providing excellent guest service is at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s a friendly greeting, answering questions or addressing guest concerns, you’ll handle each interaction with professionalism and care.

Requirements

  • Engage with Guests: Engage in friendly conversations, make eye contact, and ensure every guest feels welcome and valued.
  • Efficient Transactions: Scan grocery items, process sales and efficiently, and handle monetary transactions with care.
  • Bagging with Care: As needed, bag items thoughtfully to ensure products reach their destination in the condition they left our store.
  • Stay Informed: Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements to assist guests effectively.
  • Maintain Order: Keep your register station neat and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Communication: Relay guest requests to the Guest Services leadership team as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure all quality and quantity standards are met, especially during peak times at 10 am and 5 pm.
  • Teamwork: Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
  • Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
