Job Description
Primary responsibility is to effectively perform cashier related functions while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Maintain a friendly and professional environment by greeting and acknowledging every customer and co-worker that approaches.

Requirements

  • Handle cash, checks, credit cards and financing
  • Count till (cash) bags at the beginning and end of each shift, verifying that all transactions were done correctly and till balances at the end of each shift
  • Maintain the front office appearance by keeping everything neat and clean
  • File the daily invoices
  • Call the bank on all out of state checks and temporary checks to verify that the checks will clear
  • Call the finance company to verify information on customers account (balance due, account balance, available credit);
  • Copy and match all finance approvals
  • Process special orders and handwritten tickets
  • Take account payments for fabric checkouts or other misc. payments.
