Role OverviewThe Category Lead, Plastic NA reports to the Purchasing Director - North America and is responsible for key coordination, strategic sourcing, and organizational leadership of assigned categories.
What You Will Do
Create, implement, and maintain category and supplier strategies, develop ASL, negotiate and award supplier pricing & supply agreements, and collaborate with division purchasing on strategic quoting and market testing.

Requirements
- Post-Secondary Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 8+ years in automotive and/or diversified manufacturing experience
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in mid/senior management positions or equivalent leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to work in and lead in a large matrix organization
- Strong PC skills and knowledge of data analysis tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Professional Certification(s) a plus: C.P.M, CPIM, CSCP
