Job Description
Directs kitchen/cafeteria operations, plans and executes catering for events and meetings, and coordinates with internal stakeholders and outside vendors to ensure meeting/event success.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Kitchen, cafeteria and/or catering experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels and work as part of a team
  • Exceptional customer service skills; ability to learn and anticipate stakeholder needs
  • Experience managing external vendors and agreements
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills to identify, anticipate and resolve problems
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying scopes and timelines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Broad knowledge of food preparation and nutritional awareness
