Job Description
Provide security screening to prevent the introduction of weapons, explosives and other deadly or dangerous items into the air transportation system. Conduct physical searches, inspections of food, sealed items, and beverages, and escort catering carts from the time the monitoring/inspection is completed until the carts are loaded onto the transport vehicle.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Previous airline experience preferred
  • Previous experience in security, military, customer service preferred
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • Treat all information as confidential
  • Possess the tact to deal with all levels of situations, client representatives, employees and the public
  • Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
  • Must be able to sit, stand, lift and/or bend throughout the shift
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check
  • Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
