Job Description
The Corrosion Control Mechanic possesses a high degree of expertise in Corrosion related systems, tools, directives and components in the performance of corrosion repairs, treatment and prevention on aircraft.

Requirements

  • Performs aircraft corrosion control to include washing, cleaning and corrosion detection.
  • Identifies, treats corrosion and coats surfaces of aircraft and support equipment components, accessories and related equipment, with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin or other materials, using brushes, rollers, spray guns and other devices.
  • Use hand and power tools consistent with applicable corrosion treatment and removal manuals and directives.
