Job Description
The Timekeeper is responsible for solving straightforward Timekeeping problems using standard procedures and technical experience, with a focus on maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring employees are paid on time.

Requirements

  • Utilize timekeeping software to accurately record and maintain employee time and attendance data
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all timekeeping activities
  • Conduct regularly scheduled audits of payroll records to ensure continued accuracy
  • Prepare paychecks to ensure that employees are paid on time and in the correct amount
  • Verify and validate employee timesheets using our electronic timekeeping system
  • Assist in analyzing timekeeping data to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies
  • Support in the preparation and distribution of payroll reports and summaries
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and adhere to data protection policies
  • Participate in audits and investigations related to timekeeping and payroll as needed
  • Stay informed about changes in timekeeping regulations and best practices
  • Assist in the implementation and testing of timekeeping software upgrades or enhancements, as needed
  • Sort, scan and file timesheets, and receivers for multiple projects daily
  • Verify, reconcile, code, and approve entries
  • Compile backup files of all transactions to prepare for billing packages
