Job Description
The Timekeeper is responsible for solving straightforward Timekeeping problems using standard procedures and technical experience, with a focus on maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring employees are paid on time.
Requirements
Utilize timekeeping software to accurately record and maintain employee time and attendance data
Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all timekeeping activities
Conduct regularly scheduled audits of payroll records to ensure continued accuracy
Prepare paychecks to ensure that employees are paid on time and in the correct amount
Verify and validate employee timesheets using our electronic timekeeping system
Assist in analyzing timekeeping data to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies
Support in the preparation and distribution of payroll reports and summaries
Maintain confidentiality of employee information and adhere to data protection policies
Participate in audits and investigations related to timekeeping and payroll as needed
Stay informed about changes in timekeeping regulations and best practices
Assist in the implementation and testing of timekeeping software upgrades or enhancements, as needed
Sort, scan and file timesheets, and receivers for multiple projects daily
Verify, reconcile, code, and approve entries
Compile backup files of all transactions to prepare for billing packages
