Job Description
AECOM is seeking a talented CBTC System Engineer to join their World Class Rail Team in support of the New York Metro Region systems practice. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects to include Communication Based Train Control (CBTC), Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) System designs, and communications designs in the support of projects and mega programs.

Requirements

  • Provide technical leadership of the CBTC design and implementation process
  • Evaluate and guide system architecture decisions for CBTC subsystems
  • Collaborate with the requirements management team to ensure requirements traceability and validation
  • Assess design impacts, risks, and dependencies across contracts
  • Coordinate with operations, safety, and maintenance stakeholders to ensure the design supports operational efficiency, maintainability, and interoperability
