Role OverviewThe CCBHC Clinical Therapist ACT II Team 1F will provide outpatient psychotherapy at The Center or in the community, performing initial screening, intake, and assessment, crisis intervention, counseling, and case management for clients in the program.
What You Will Do
Provide individual, group, and family therapy for mental health and/or substance use issues using various treatment modalities, including evidence-based practices.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, and Rhode Island licensure as a LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-A, LMFT, or LMFT-A.
Requirements
- Master's Degree Required
- Field of Study: Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Experience in Human Services field preferred
- Rhode Island licensure required: LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-A, LMFT, or LMFT-A
- Certification as Principal Counselor or Counselor accepted in lieu of licensure
- Valid driver's license, registration, current inspection sticker, and insured auto
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
