Role OverviewThe CDL A Driver will perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations for safe operations of a commercial motor vehicle. The driver will travel to local areas making deliveries to businesses and residences, and may travel long distances.
What You Will Do
The driver will perform pre and post-trip inspections on vehicles and trailers, follow company reporting procedures, and obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods. The driver will also assist with warehouse and yard duties on days with no runs.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have three years of Class A CDL driving experience, knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures, and a clean driving record. The candidate will also be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle and have experience operating a flatbed truck.
Requirements
- Three years of Class A CDL driving experience
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle
- One year of experience operating a flatbed truck
- Moffett Experience Required
- Knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures
- Experience with strapping/securement
- Registered with FMCSA clearinghouse
- Knowledge of Electronic Logging requirements, GPS systems, and ability to read maps
- Clean driving record and diligent attention to safety
