Role OverviewThis position offers premium weekly earnings, dependable freight, and a schedule that gets you home every weekend. Drivers haul dedicated stainless-steel freight from a customer near Calvert, Alabama before picking up available backhaul freight.
What You Will Do
You will haul stainless-steel coils and flat stainless-steel sheets, primarily live loaded and live unloaded. Approximately 75% of shipments require tarping using lightweight six-foot drop tarps.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You will work with assigned Kenworth T680 tractors and 2025 Extreme 48-foot flatbed trailers. You will earn $2,000 to $2,100 per week and be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license required
- Minimum one year of OTR experience within the last five years
- Minimum six months of flatbed experience
- Steel-hauling experience required
- Current coil-hauling certification required
- Experience with tarping and load securement required
- Acceptable driving record required
