Role OverviewSeeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to support railroad recovery, track work, and heavy equipment operations. This is a hands-on position combining CDL driving, equipment operation, rigging, and physical labor.
What You Will Do
Complete DOT-required pre- and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment, transport equipment and materials, load and unload materials, operate heavy equipment, and perform rigging and equipment maintenance.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Employees may also assist with equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and safety training during downtime. Participate in job-site safety meetings and follow all required safety procedures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of heavy equipment operation
- Equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered
