Role OverviewKiawah Island Golf Resort is seeking enthusiastic and customer service driven candidates to fulfill guest service roles as a Villa Transportation Driver. The driver acts as an ambassador for the resort and the 5 star/5 diamond Sanctuary Hotel. This position requires anticipating guests' needs and consistently exceeding guest expectations.
What You Will Do
Transport Kiawah Resort guests to locations including The Sanctuary Hotel, golf courses, tennis center, pools, and restaurants. Carry baggage to and from guest villas and homes, and acclimate guests with their accommodations. Deliver amenities, golf bags, luggage, and other items as needed. Inspect van or bus before each shift for safety and cleanliness.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Candidates must have a valid CDL with Endorsement P and be comfortable driving vehicles from a 10-14 passenger Sprinter van to a 28 seat bus. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on site. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation pay, and employee discounts.
Requirements
- Valid CDL driver license – Endorsement P
- Comfortable driving vehicles ranging from a 10-14 passenger Sprinter van to a 28 seat bus
- Able to effectively and efficiently communicate over a 2-way radio
- Must work both independently and in a team environment
- Good to excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
- Must be able to pass a background check
