Role OverviewThe CDL Driver II is responsible for daily pick up and deliveries, operating a tractor-trailer combination, and maintaining punctual attendance. The position requires a flexible schedule, including day, night, and weekend shifts, and involves driving in city traffic. The role is time-sensitive, and the driver must demonstrate the Company's core values and comply with all Company policies and procedures.
What You Will Do
The CDL Driver II will safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, maintain DOT Driver's Logs and Daily Trip Reports, handle equipment paperwork accurately, and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A commercial driver's license, a safe driving record, and experience with doubles endorsement. The driver should be available to work a flexible schedule, including up to 12-14 hours in a day, and be able to lift objects of various shapes and sizes (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally).
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license
- Safe driving record and history
- Doubles endorsement
- Pass a DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals
- Pass a company-paid DOT physical and pre-hire test (physical essential functions)
