Job Description
The CDL Driver Trainer is responsible for all driver training functions, including classroom instruction and over-the-road training. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL, 3 years of verifiable on-the-road experience, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years of verifiable on-the-road experience within the last 5 years
  • MVR and background check
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and DOT drug screen
  • Knowledge of procedures for and ability to execute a pre-trip inspection, air-brake tests, and CDL driving essentials
  • Ability to instruct shifting patterns and maintain vehicle equipment
  • Motivation, dedication, professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm for teaching
  • Ability to show sensitivity to the needs and requirements of adult learners
