Role OverviewResidential Rear Load Drivers provide essential services to customers and communities by collecting and hauling waste or recycling materials. This role operates various types of trucks and services many different routes in various areas.
What You Will Do
Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers, enter/exit the truck, pull or push containers, replace receptacles, clean up spills, maintain logs, and interact with customers.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This position requires a valid Class B CDL, a valid DOT Medical Card, and excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills. The ideal candidate will have waste industry experience and be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Ability to read and understand a map
- Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills
- General knowledge of truck mechanics
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 100 lbs
- Ability to work in changing temperatures, wet/humid conditions, and areas of dust, odors, mist, gases, and other airborne matter
