Role OverviewAs a CDL Roll Off Driver, you will safely operate a heavy-duty truck and be responsible for preparing, loading, and transporting large mobile open top and compactor containers to disposal sites, transfer or recycle facilities, and customer locations. You will navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, high traffic roadways, and may operate in tight overhead environments while on industrial routes.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include operating a vehicle in accordance with Amwaste of Georgia Safety and Life Critical Rules, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting any unsafe situations or service-related issues, and attending scheduled training programs.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We are looking for a highly skilled driver who can perform complex backing maneuvers and has a valid CDL class B license. You will work closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.
Requirements
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Have an acceptable driving record
- Have a valid CDL class B license
- Have a valid Medical Card
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
