Role OverviewAs a CDL Shuttle Driver (DOT) at SP+, you will be responsible for the proper and safe operation of shuttle buses and transporting passengers. You will go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional client and customer experience, performing vehicle inspections, maintaining cleanliness of bus interiors, and assisting disabled passengers.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include performing vehicle inspections, maintaining cleanliness of bus interiors, fueling of buses, logging trip counts, and assisting disabled passengers. You will also be responsible for being at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
Why It Might Be a Fit
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a valid state-issued driver's license, have and maintain an acceptable DMV record, and report any known accidents or observed/suspected violations of Company policy to the Facility Manager.
Requirements
- Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement
- DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate)
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company
