Job Description
We are looking for a CEI Inspector - Transportation Market who has experience in construction or inspection, preferably on TDOT or municipal roadway projects. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be able to learn new tools and equipment, and have a collaborative spirit. As a CEI Inspector, you will observe and inspect construction work, prepare daily reports, and ensure construction progress aligns with specifications and contract documents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (GED) and a minimum of 2 years of construction or inspection experience
  • Experience on TDOT or municipal roadway projects
  • Licenses/registrations/certifications such as TDOT CEI certifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
  • Competence in computer use for data entry and reporting
  • Physical ability to frequently sit, use hands to operate tools or equipment, talk, see, hear, reach with hands and arms, walk, stand, and stoop
