Job Description
The NYIC Census Strategist will play a key leadership role in the organization’s work on the 2030 Census. The position is time-limited through the 2030 Census and contingent on continued funding.

Requirements

  • Lead the NYIC’s engagement and participation in the New York State Census Partnership and New York Counts campaign
  • Facilitate quarterly New York State Census Partnership meetings
  • Provide direction for the evolving demands of the New York Counts campaign
  • Work with the NYIC Chief Executive Officer to navigate key external relationships
  • Coordinate and ensure forward movement of the NYIC’s internal Census work
  • Maintain and monitor internal project plan, timeline and goals
  • Create one pagers, talking points and other documents and content for internal or external use by key stakeholders
