What You Will Do
You will manage the central supply area (core) between operating room, ensuring surgeons and operating room staff have the necessary sterile instruments, equipment and supplies to support surgical efficiency and patient safety.

Requirements
- High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED)
- 2+ years Sterile Processing experience
- Analytical ability to learn and differentiate different types of instruments, supplies and equipment
- Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with physicians, nursing staff and patients/families
- Ability to stand and maneuver equipment for extended periods of time
- Basic knowledge and skill of computer use
- Strong sense of personal accountability, service orientation, sensitivity and responsiveness to the requests from departments and the pace and intensity unique to surgical service platform
- Ability to critically think and problem solve, along with the ability prioritize and make decisions that directly impact patient care
- Has a high degree of situational awareness
- Ability to read doctor preference cards
