Job Description
The Deputy Director will manage the activities of the Family Independence Administration Benefits Access Center staff, including case management, case establishment, and case support units. They will also oversee training and development initiatives, supervise the implementation of Welfare Reform initiatives, and evaluate the legality and appropriateness of case actions.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Four years of satisfactory full-time experience performing work related to providing employment related services or economic support services to persons in need
  • At least eighteen months of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity
  • College credits may be substituted for experience on the basis of 30 semester credits for one year
  • A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent
  • Eight years of full-time experience equivalent to the above
  • At least eighteen months of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity
