Role OverviewThe Center Deputy Director is responsible for the organization, direction, and supervision of the Case Management, Case Establishment, and Case Support units. They facilitate eligibility determinations for initial and ongoing public assistance benefits and employment-related activities to enable participants to achieve their maximum level of self-sufficiency.
What You Will Do
The Deputy Director will manage the activities of the Family Independence Administration Benefits Access Center staff, ensuring compliance with Agency requirements and mandated signage. They will also manage all aspects of the application and recertification processes for public assistance, assist the Benefits Access Center Director, and determine training needs of Job Center staff.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a baccalaureate degree and four years of experience in providing employment-related services or economic support services. They will have at least eighteen months of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity and be able to work independently with wide latitude for exercise of judgment and initiative.
