Job Description
Join the Center for Global Security Research (CGSR) as a Graduate Research Associate to conduct independent research on global security topics and support ongoing research activities. The role involves working on practical research projects, contributing to literature reviews, and participating in research planning and evaluation discussions. The position is open to master’s and PhD students or recent graduates in relevant fields such as international relations, security, economics, and related fields.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university and actively pursuing a graduate degree, or have recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field of research aligned with CGSR analytic priorities.
  • Demonstrated academic and/or professional achievement in a relevant field of research aligned with CGSR analytic priorities.
  • Strong record of independent research and publication, or a strong proposal of research to be done while at CGSR and in future academic and professional settings.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
