Role OverviewEfficiently sets up and operates through-feed centerless grinding equipment to produce precision bearing components according to quality standards. Owns each setup from first piece to production runs and supports operations in the side lap and centerless department.
What You Will Do
Set up thru-feed centerless grinders, mount, balance and dress grinding and regulating wheels, diagnose and correct grinding difficulties, perform changeovers, train operators, and maintain quality standards.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires 3+ years of hands-on centerless grinding setup experience, proven ability to hand-feed parts, and demonstrated ability to diagnose and correct through-feed geometry and surface problems.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of hands-on centerless grinding setup experience
- Thru-feed grinding required
- Proven ability to hand-feed a continuous column of parts at a constant thru-feed rate
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and correct through-feed geometry, surface, operational and manual-feeding problems
