Role OverviewThe Central Processing Tech is responsible for sterilizing instruments, participating in in-service education programs, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and collaborating with team members to support hospital operations.
What You Will Do
The Central Processing Tech will perform duties such as assembling instrument trays accurately, documenting procedures, ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and sterilized, handling specimens properly, and reviewing and recommending changes to policies and procedures.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 1+ position-related experience, be able to accurately identify instruments, operate Steam Sterilizers and Washer Disinfector, and accurately read and document Biological results.
Requirements
- High School Grad or Equiv
- Technical/Vocational School
- 1+ position-related experience
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Preferred
