Job Description
The Central Sterilization Technician is responsible for decontaminating, cleaning, assembling, packaging, sterilizing, and distributing surgical instruments, trays, and medical equipment. Ensures that all sterile processing standards and protocols are followed to support safe patient care.

Requirements

  • Certification with the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
  • Previous experience working in a hospital environment
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems knowledge
  • Quality assurance and accreditation standards knowledge
  • HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality laws understanding
