Job Description
HDR is seeking a Central Texas Water Business Development Manager to lead marketing and business development activities, meet Net Fee Booked goals, and position the area Water Business Group for year-over-year growth. The role involves developing and implementing a growth strategy, maintaining and expanding client relationships, identifying new target clients, and developing market networks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, professional, or related field
  • Professional engineering registration in Texas is strongly preferred, or similar technical credentials/experience
  • 15+ years of experience with program development, pursuit management, and client relationship development in the water consulting industry
  • Proven business development success in the water consulting industry
  • Existing network of clients and teaming partners in Texas is preferred
  • Experienced in development and management of diverse teams
  • Commitment to HDR’s core values of quality work and continuous improvement
  • Commitment to being an active participant in HDR’s employee-owned culture
  • A minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
