Job Description
Job description: The CERT Officer is responsible for rapid response to emergencies and high-risk incidents at the Wilkinson County Correctional Facility in Woodville, MS. The position requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and minimum one year of experience in law enforcement or military operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license in Mississippi or Louisiana
  • Minimum one year experience in law enforcement or military operations
  • 120-hours of pre-service training
  • Special Weapons, Tactics, and Military-Type CERT basic course
  • Annual re-qualification in the use of firearms
  • Unarmed self-defense training
  • Annual physical examination
