Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist — Cardiovascular Surgery & OR Support

Prepare the cardiovascular operating room, instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures. Establish and maintain the sterile field. Anticipate surgical team needs and provide instruments and supplies during procedures. Participate in surgical counts and other safety checks according to facility protocols. Support proper handling of surgical specimens and equipment. Collaborate with surgeons, circulating nurses, anesthesia providers, and other surgical team members. Assist with room turnover and readiness for subsequent cases.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Operating room experience.
• One to two years of CVOR experience, as stated in the requisition.
• Current surgical technology certification, with Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) listed.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS.
