Role OverviewThe Virtual Patient Educator will provide education about specific diabetes treatments, and resources to help patients better begin and manage their diabetes and resources associated with their prescribed medication.
What You Will Do
Must work from a dedicated workspace in their primary home residence, experience with direct patient interaction and support for persistence and compliance, and demonstrated effective presentation skills.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), excellent documentation accuracy, and drive and enthusiasm for supporting patients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or BSN
- 3+ year as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)
- Complete understanding and application of principles, practices, and standards in diabetes care directly with patients
