Role OverviewThe Virtual Patient Educator will provide education about specific diabetes treatments, and resources to help patients better begin and manage their diabetes and resources associated with their prescribed medication. This role is strictly educational based and does not provide medical advice or work clinically.
What You Will Do
Must work from a dedicated workspace in their primary home residence, interact with patients via telephone, video platforms, email, and SMS, and provide education about diabetes treatments and resources.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or BSN
- 3+ years as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)
- Complete understanding and application of principles, practices, and standards in diabetes care directly with patients
- Fully competent in MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Excellent documentation accuracy
- Drive and enthusiasm for supporting patients
- Excellent listening and problem-solving skills
