Job Description
The selected candidate will lead a team in performing SQL Server database administration functions, supervising database design and implementation, monitoring and analyzing data platforms, and implementing HA & DR architectures. The role requires a team leader to collaborate with application owners and development teams to deliver robust solutions. The candidate must have a certification in database administration and relevant experience in database design, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, integration, performance monitoring, maintenance, enhancement, and security management.

Requirements

  • Lead a team who performs SQL Server database administration functions
  • Supervise a team who designs and implement redundant systems, policies and procedures for database recovery and data archiving
  • Monitor and analyze data platforms to ensure database is available, secure, healthy, efficient and recoverable as per expectations
  • Build and manage HA & DR architectures like Clustering, Replication and Always on
  • Collaborate with application owners to develop a seamless process to migrate their schema and data to data platform
  • Partner with development and quality assurance teams to deliver robust, quality on-time solutions
  • Directs, provides guidance and assists subordinates in testing, developing and troubleshooting database applications
