Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide quality patient care in our primary care clinic. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals and health history, documenting in an electronic medical record, giving injections and assisting with minor procedures.

Requirements

  • Room patients
  • Take vitals and health history
  • Document in an electronic medical record
  • Give injections and assist with minor procedures
  • Maintain accurate calibrations, cleaning and scheduled maintenance of clinical/lab equipment
  • Maintain patient records and charts
  • Communicate with patients and healthcare providers
  • Maintain exam room supplies and cleanliness
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and referrals
  • Screen patients for appropriate information
  • Provide patient education
  • Observe, record and report patient condition
  • Respond to and triage phone calls
  • Call in orders as ordered by physician
  • Instruct patients regarding treatment and/or medication
  • Monitor and distribute medication
  • Triage patients and prepare for physician exams and procedures
  • Assist with exams, procedures and treatments
