Role OverviewAs a Medical Assistant at McLeod Health, you will work closely with physicians to assess patient needs through history, observation, and analysis of diagnostic data. This full-time, on-site role is based in North Myrtle Beach, SC, within a not-for-profit health system founded in 1906.
What You Will Do
You will perform direct patient care, prepare patients for examinations, conduct specialized tests and procedures, administer medications, provide patient education, schedule appointments, and handle telephone consultations. Additionally, you will ensure clean and well-equipped examination rooms, manage medical supplies, and contribute to departmental QA projects.
