Job Description
The Certified Medical Assistant provides medical support services to the providers as part of a care team to ensure a smooth flow of patients through the medical clinic. Responsibilities include assisting patients, obtaining vital signs, and documenting in Electronic Health Record (EHR). The Certified Medical Assistant works under the direct clinical direction of the overseeing clinician to assist with patient care and other medical services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant Training Program
  • Medical Assistant Certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Effective communication skills
  • Neatness and accuracy in performing tasks
  • Ability to use discretion in situations dealing with confidential patient health information
