Role OverviewThe Medical Assistant functions under the direction of the Physician, Clinical Lead, Clinical Nurse Supervisor, Nurse Supervisor and/or Office Manager. Provides care for the patient under the physician's direction.

Performs various clinical and non-clinical duties, including registration, laboratory testing, radiology functions, and patient liaison.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program
- Cert Medical Assistant
- Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
- Phlebotomy certification within 60 Days
- OSHA training course for operators of radiology equipment within sixty days of hire
- Successful passing of a Medical Assistant credentialing body examination (AAMA, AMT) Upon Hire
