Job Description
Join UT Southwestern as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMOA) in an ambulatory care setting, providing an exceptional patient experience from taking vitals to discharging patients. Responsibilities include recording patient medical histories, taking vital signs, assisting with minor procedures, administering medications, and ensuring proper documentation of patient information. As a CMOA, you will play a valuable role in maintaining the clinic's efficiency by performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and coordinating referrals.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of Medical Assistant training in an approved program, or one (1) year experience patient care in a physician office practice or hospital setting
CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Medical Assistant certification and maintenance of current certified status
