Role OverviewThe Certified Medical Assistant I plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting physicians, providers, and nurses. The role involves greeting and acknowledging patients, escorting them to exam rooms, and preparing them for examinations. The Certified Medical Assistant will also maintain accurate and detailed patient records, perform and document accurate blood pressure, height and weight, and patient temperature, and assist with patient examinations and office-based procedures.
What You Will Do
The Certified Medical Assistant I will perform a variety of tasks, including greeting and acknowledging patients, escorting them to exam rooms, preparing them for examinations, maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, performing and documenting accurate blood pressure, height and weight, and patient temperature, and assisting with patient examinations and office-based procedures.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current national certification as a Medical Assistant, such as CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA
- CPR Certification if performing Office Based Surgeries
- OB/GYN or Women's Health experience preferred
- eClinicalWorks (EMR) experience preferred
