Job Description
Sentara Medical Group Family Medicine Providence Office is now hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant in Virginia Beach, VA. The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative tasks based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Requirements

  • Patient care and administrative tasks
  • CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification
  • HS Diploma
  • 1 year clinical/administrative experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days from hire
