Role OverviewUnder the direction of a supervising provider, provides support to a medical care team, delivering excellent customer service to patients. Demonstrates a high level of competence with support in accordance with MACC’s policies and procedures.
What You Will Do
Assists in providing clinical care to office patients, manages provider’s daily schedule, greets and escorts patients, takes vital signs, inputs clinical information into the electronic health record, and assists clinicians with clinical procedures.

Requirements
- Medical Assistant - Certification from either the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or the National Healthcare Association (NHA)
- Completion of a post-secondary medical assisting program required for PCP Office (Preferred for Specialty Office)
- Basic Life Support Certification for Health Care Providers
