Job Description

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of Medical Assistant training in an approved program, or one year experience patient care in a physician office practice or hospital setting.
  • CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) before first day of employment.
  • Medical Assistant certification and maintenance of current certified status obtained through one of the following organizations: The American Association of Medical Assistants, The American Medical Technologists Association, The National Association for Health Professionals, The National Center for Competency Testing, The National Healthcareer Association, or American Allied Health
