Role OverviewThe CNA provides quality care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents of the community. The CNA encourages residents to function at their highest level of independence and to participate in community activities.
What You Will Do
Assists residents with activities of daily living, reports incidents involving residents, performs housekeeping duties, responds to resident calls for assistance, and assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.

Must be able to remain calm and competent during emergencies, communicate verbally and in writing, and be a contributing member of the nursing team.
Requirements
- Current CNA license from the State in which the community is located and in good standing with the Board of Nursing
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work well with all levels of personnel
- Polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers at all times
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, and push or carry 25 lbs
- Ability to safely lift and transfer residents while maintaining proper body mechanics
- CPR/First Aid certification, or be willing to become certified within 60 days of hire
- Ability to represent the community in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
