Role OverviewThe Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will work at Hazelhurst Court Care and Rehab, providing care for customers in a rehabilitation and long-term care setting. The CNA will work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized Nursing Care Plans. The CNA will perform various customer care activities, including assisting with admission, discharge, and transfer of customers, and providing maximum customer care services within defined limits.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include performing duties in accordance with established methods and techniques, providing customer care services, and assisting with customer treatments and personal belongings. The CNA will also bathe customers, position them in correct body alignment, and transport them throughout the center. Additionally, the CNA will coordinate scheduling for customers requiring therapy, participate in the formulation and follow-through of the customer's Nursing Care Plan, and take and record vital signs.

Requirements
- High school education or high school equivalency diploma
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
- Certified Nurse Assistant certification
- Completion of a State-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program
- Attendance of a minimum of 18 hours Continuing Education programs provided by the Center
