Role OverviewThe Certified Nursing Assistant will perform a variety of work involving direct care and treatment to patients, exercising custody and supervision of patients consistent with nursing care and special treatment plans.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include providing direct care and treatment to patients, assisting nurses with minor treatments, providing personal care to patients, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the patient's immediate environment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of patient care practices, including first aid, housekeeping, and infection control, and be able to apply this knowledge to the care, treatment, and custody of patients.
Requirements
- Registered as Nursing Assistant by the Rhode Island Department of Health per the General Laws of Rhode Island
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Training or employment involving the opportunity to gain familiarity with routine hospital or clinical patient care procedures
