Job Description
Atrius Health, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) to join their team. As a COA, you will perform duties of a clinical assistant/technician specializing in anatomy, function, and diseases of the eye, and facilitate patient care by performing preliminary work-ups and testing.

Requirements

  • Certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE) certification
  • 2-3 years of experience with COA or 1-2 years of experience with COT
  • Basic proficiency in diagnostic and treatment procedures, including visual field testing, contact lenses, and ophthalmic surgery
  • General medical knowledge and proficiency in history taking
